Do you use some version of the word "hinky/hinkety/hinckty"? If so, what is the definition?

I use this word and it tends to make [livejournal.com profile] dionysus1999 laugh. I think the version I use and the definition I'm thinking of when I use it is different than the way other people use it and spell it, and a browse through http://www.urbandictionary.com confirms that.

hincty:

hinky:

hinkity:

I'll note which version I used and what my definition is in the comments.

I use "hinky" to mean "something wrong or not quite right," usually in a vague or poorly defined way: "This computer is acting a little hinky."
