#3 is the lie.
1: I haven't used my cable at all this year. We watch TV shows on DVD, and I've watched TV over at friends' homes, but haven't used our TV to actually watch TV at all this year. I'm thinking of dropping the cable package and just getting the internet package, because it seems kind of pointless, doesn't it?
2: I have, indeed, not shaved my legs since I was 20, and I'm now 37. I also went through a 2.5 year period where I didn't shave my pits, but I just never felt comfortable about it. The leg hair thing is such old hat now, though, I rarely think about it anymore.
3: I have actually been outside the U.S. and Canada. I also spent a few hours in Tijuana, Mexico during a trip to Texas as a youngster, and I spent about 10 days in St. Vincent (Grenadine Islands). Technically speaking, I've also "been" to the Bahamas, in the form of a stopover at the airport there on my way to St. Vincent.

But...
Jon Stewart!
Also, I stopped doing the shaving thing entirely. It was actually my husband who convinced me as he thinks all that girly crap is "vain and high maintenance." Considering that US women actually began shaving their underarms because of a 1930's Macy's catalog (they were selling sundresses, and declared underarm hair "unsightly"), I don't really see the point.
