Activity update

Total days did full body stretch: 5 out of 7
Comments: Well, I didn't make my goal of "daily" stretching, but it was better than last week. I'm finding some stretching of my *inner* upper thigh seems to be helping with the pain on my outer hip- go figure! Over the weekend, I did some gardening and yard work and it kicked my ass. I hoed and raked and worked up a patch of ground and got down on hands and knees to plant some seedlings and then spent some time mowing with a reel (human-propelled) mower. My hamstrings were sore for 2 days afterward. And this is the first time I felt the muscles in my *hands* for crying out loud. The muscles I used to grip the hoe and rake were also sore for a couple days afterward.
I'm feeling optimistic that I can be active this summer and that the physical therapy routine I'm developing for myself will allow me to do that with minimum daily pain.
