Activity Summary for May 10 - May 16:
Total days I got some form of physical activity: 6 out of 7
Total days I did weight lifting: 2 out of 7
Estimated total hours: minutes of all activity (excluding stretching): 4:25

There are two things I'm disappointed with. One, I was going to weight lift Sun/Wed/Fri. instead of my usual Sat/Tues/Thurs. this week, but I was so tired and achy from repetitive strain by Friday that I just couldn't do that third day. I think this was a legitimate buy- I shouldn't lift if my arm is killing me. But still disappointing. I'm hoping that with the new part-time job plus freelancing, I'll be doing a wider variety of movements and my repetitive strain will diminish. That'd be nice.

My other disappointment is that I forgot to stretch several days. I am noticing that when I go to the gym, stretching is part of my routine, so I do it. But if I go for a walk or exercise at home in some other way, I often put off stretching and then just don't do it. On the plus side, I'm noticing the pattern, so now I can figure out ways to fix it. I think I just need to tell myself that stretching needs to be part of my cool-down no matter what activity I'm doing for that day.

Another plus, I flossed every day this week. That's the first time I can say that for quite some time.

I'm nervous about my schedule change and how I'm going to fit my fitness days in. Right now, I'm fairly structured, and having J. as my exercise buddy helps keep me minimally on track. Not carpooling with him, and having an altered driving schedule will mean I have to change my workout schedule a little and will have to monitor it myself to keep me on track. On the plus side, I will have some more flexibility about taking daytime classes during the week, which could be fun. We'll see how this goes. I need to come up with a plan after I have a full week of the new schedule and can figure out where everything should go...
