-30 min. walking
-Flossed, read for pleasure
Sunday May 4:
-"Total Body" class (with a different instructor, Karen)*
-Additional stretching
-Moisturized
Monday May 5:
-25 min. yoga DVD
-33 min. lawn mowing
-Played with cat, foot pampering
Tuesday May 6:
-15 min. elliptical
-Slightly abbreviated upper body weight routine
-8 min. treadmill
-Full upper/lower body stretch
-Read for pleasure, talked to Mom
Wednesday May 7:
-21 min. outdoor walking
-Played with cat, flossed, read for pleasure
Thursday May 8:
-15 min. elliptical
-Full upper/lower body weight routine
-15 min. treadmill
-Full upper/lower body stretch routine
-Flossed, read for pleasure, moisturized
Friday May 9:
-Rest day
-Read for pleasure, flossed
Activity Summary for May 3 - May 9:
Total days I got some form of physical activity: 6 out of 7
Total days I did weight lifting: 3 out of 7
Estimated total hours: minutes of all activity (excluding stretching): 4:25
I wish I would have done better with both flossing and stretching this week. The stretching thing should be self-reinforcing. I feel a lot better when I do and tend to feel crappy and not sleep as well when I don't. I didn't stretch on Wednesday and when I woke up on Thursday, I bent over and my back went into twinges. I HAD to stretch repeatedly to work out the kink, and felt much better for doing so. Aaaaaaaaand, then, forgot to stretch on Friday. Oh well. I'll do better with it next week. I should make it a rule that I have to ask myself before I settle in for the night at home, "Have you stretched today?" Even just a couple stretches always make me sleep better.
