What I've been Reading

"Trans-sister Radio" by Chris Bojhalian. I love that the main character gets his/her sex reassignment surgery in Trinidad, Colorado in this book. J. and I once got stuck in that town when our car broke down on a road trip. Sitting in a Taco Bell, one of the locals asked us if we knew that Trinidad was famous for being a hub for sex-reassignment surgery. We weren't sure at the time if he was BS-ing us, but it turned out to be true.
and
"The Robots of Dawn" by Isaac Asimov. I was surprised by the frank, explicit sex talk in this book- something pretty much absent from the first two in the series. J. and I have been enjoying listening to the trilogy as books on CD during our commute together.
