1. Run a mile in 14:30 or less - COMPLETED (Nov. 3)
2.Go for at least one 10-day stretch where I floss EVERY day. COMPLETED (started Nov. 1, ended Nov. 10)
3.Re-taking the fitness test I took back in July and scoring higher on flexibility and scoring in the "average" or "above average" range for upper body strength (i.e. 12-15 "girly push-ups"). -COMPLETED (Dec. 8).
4.Swimming a half mile in one session. COMPLETED (Nov. 21)
5. Maintain the pace of three upper body weight routine days EVERY week for the entire 55 days of my health & exercise challenge. COMPLETED DEC. 23
My challenge ended just at the right time; between the gym having limited hours over the holidays and being gone on vacation for part of the first week of January, it would have sucked to have been a hardass about making myself do 3 weight training days every week. I do intend, after we get back from vacation, to stick to my 3 days a week as much as humanly possible because I'm really seeing results from it. But it'll be nice to be able to bow out every once in a while if I'm away from home and my gym or to just shorten my weight routine some night if I'm feeling pooped.
I already have a 3 goals in 33 days challenge sort of brewing, and I will post that soon. After that, I think I'll take a break from setting specific goals for a month or two and will just focus on maintaining a regular level of activity and mixing things up to keep it interesting.
