Activity Summary for Nov. 17 - Nov. 23:
Total days I got some form of physical activity: 6 out of 7
Total days I did weight lifting: 3 out of 7
Estimated total hours: minutes of all activity (excluding stretching): 4:00
For a vacation/holiday week where I was on the road two days, I think 4 hours of exercise is pretty good. I got up and did a slightly abbreviated weight routine (2 sets on big muscles, one set on smaller ones) on Thanksgiving day morning before we got on the road in order to stay on track with my committment to lift 3 days a week. There was some incidental exercise (walking around J.'s workplace Wed., walking around the hotel and taking the stairs to our room, swimming casually in the pool with Mom on Thursday) that didn't get counted, so I was even more active than the stats here would indicate.
I haven't weighed myself in probably more than a month, and I'm paranoid about whether the holiday and the stress-eating I did before the holiday are going to show up on the scale when I go in for my physical tomorrow (Monday) and it's with a different doc than the one I really like, so I'm kind of nervous. I know that the scale is not an indicator of my worth as a human being and that even if I have gained a few pounds, I'll go back down to the bottom of my usual weight range once I get back into my regular routine, but I just *hate* seeing a new doctor and waiting for the lecture about my weight. :(
