I love the Nat'l Geographic feed on my LJ. It's always been full of good stuff, but especially full of cute critters and interesting news the last week or so.
Kooky British couple runs a Bat Rescue/Hospital in their spare bedroom. Of course, this was published for the Halloween tie-in. I think bats are SO cute, so I was totally squee-ing through the whole video:

Flying Lemurs are Primates' closest kin. Again with the cute critters!

And, in sadder news, Washoe, the first chimp to learn sign language, died. She was in her early 40s.
