Xmas loot

We still are expecting some gifts from J.'s sister, but so far, these are my presents. We received some very thoughtful gifts.

My side of the family exchanged dollar store gifts:
-mug with chai and instant coffee and a tea bag in it (the tea and mug have already been re-gifted to others, but I kept the powdered chai)
-bag of flavored coffee beans
-tin of chocolates (I've re-gifted the tin to others)
-bar of mango soap
-nut-cracker figurine

From my Mom:
-a gorgeous red teapot with oriental designs
-matching tea cups with built-in strainers for J. and I

From J.:
-a squeeze tube of unscented hand cream
-a nail kit (I'm trying to stop biting my nails and cuticles)
-two Pilates videos and a stretchy band to use with them

From J.'s relatives, so far:
-heavy-duty frying pan (no teflon!)
-glass kitchen storage containers
-plastic storage containers
-another Pilates video
-another nail kit (this is actually not disappointing, as I intend to stash one at home, one in my purse, and one in my overnight bag so I'll always have access to them)
-candy

From novapsyche to J. & I:
-a wine rack

From another friend:
-a gift certificate to Lowe's

I should have lovely nails and abs of steel in the New Year!

Except the nutcracker, which has a moving jaw, but not big enough to actually crack a nut...
