Evil, evil toy

I'm finding LJ to be an evil, seductive toy (though I'm grateful for the free "therapy" today).

It's not like I don't already have several on-line obsessions that suck my time already. I may have to impose a "no posting at work" or "only ONE post per day from work" rule on myself so I can get something done. I may need to eliminate or cut back on one of my other mailing lists/forums as well, but which one?

Well, you could always use your LJ as a "dumping ground" for your other posts - just copy the text into a LJ client and make a carbon copy. Maximum exposure for your writings...although you might need to exit a bit here and there for context enahancements...

I'm sure I will be doing some of that I may even copy over bits of what I write at work into my LJ account. For instance, this week, my opinion column was about recent stories about journalists contributing to political campaigns, and the perceived conflict of interest. I have some definite thoughts on that, as you might imagine.
