I'm not able to watch the video because I'm just on break at work, but this looks quite nifty:

I'd heard the song "Iko Iko" performed by Zap Mama before, I think in the early 90s, as a friend had it on a mix tape. You may have heard it in the rock-climbing scene in the movie "Mission Impossible II."

Then, recently, J. and I got ahold of some DVDs of SCTV, and Dr. John was a guest, playing piano and performing "Iko Iko." I hadn't realized the song had been around as long as it had, and Dr. John's interpretation was *quite* different than the Zap Mama version.

Scroll down almost to the bottom (to the year 2000) on this page to see the paragraph about the song's inclusion on the soundtrack to MI:2:

You know, if all the people on my friends list who have cats were to make one post of kitty photos every other day or so, it wouldn't be too much. Or any other cute critters you might have as pets. I just can't get enough of the cuteness.

I think this photo gets the "cute overload photo of the month" award:

And here's a photo of my kitty (several years younger and a couple pounds lighter than she is now, though):
