A week or so ago, when Spring hadn't quite made up its mind about sticking around in Michigan, I was out on a walk and saw a robin alight on a fence in front of me. I thought to myself, "Spring is really here!" And then it took a shit and flew away. Kind of like the spring weather.
The dog next door
The dog next door is a big, black, barky dog, not too bright. Every time our neighbors come out and tie him up outside, the first thing he does is take a piss on his own doghouse. I asked our neighbor a few days ago what the dog's name was. She said it was "Rock." As in, "dumb as a . . ."
