Wacky work week

Between having a passel of school kids tour the office and meeting my new publisher yesterday, a production day Wednesday that was full of unpleasant technology difficulties, a morning meeting way the hell out in Saline this morning followed by down email and internet at work, closely followed by a complete power outage due to the high winds, it's been a hell of a week. I've been *trying* to get some work done, but have been thwarted and re-directed at every turn.

The only positive about the power outage today was that I could only do things that didn't involve a computer or a phone, so I ended up getting a bunch of filing done that I'd been putting off for ages. The file organization task is not quite done, but the end is in sight.

Time for a nap.
