Book No. 5 was " How the Light Gets In" (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache #9) by Louise Penny. This is one of the best in the series, in my opinion, and I think that's because the stakes are so high. Inspector Gamache and his former second-in-command Jean Guy Beauvoir are estranged, Gamache's department is being decimated, and he knows he has a limited amount of time to save Jean Guy, find out what his nemesis is planning, and stop it. Meanwhile, he's also trying to solve the murder of the last of a famous set of quintuplets, a friend of Myrna's. I saw a few things coming, but there were plenty of surprises. Highly recommended.

Book No. 6 was "They Called Us Enemy" by George Takei, Justin Eisinger, and teven Scott, illustrated by Harmony Becker. The illustrations are perfect with the text, and I enjoy that it blends the history of Japanese internment in the US with Takei's personal family memoir. You can "hear" George's voice as you read it, too. I loved this!
