I was tracking my exercise fairly religiously for a while, but I've fallen out of the habit for a variety of reasons. One was that I was tracking in a small notebook in my purse and then compiling them later on my LJ, but that notebook was falling apart so badly that it was frustrating to try to use it.

I also just had a kind of "don't wanna!" tantrum about tracking. I've still been exercising at least 3 days a week, more often 4-5, but didn't track except in my head for several months. But now, I've started tracking over at the [livejournal.com profile] fathletes community instead. They have a Monday morning training thread where you state your goals for the coming week and/or talk about your successes or challenges of the previous week. I'm finding that works fine for me.

For anybody curious, here's my activity from Mon-Sun last week:

I met my goal of being active 5 days and getting in two gym workouts.
Monday: rest
Tuesday: Mowed the lawn (I consider this exercise/activity since I work up a sweat)
Wedneday: rest
Thursday: 15 minute walk in the morning
Friday: Water workout at the gym
Saturday: Cardio & weight machine workout at the gym
Sunday: ~35 min. bike ride
