Health & Fitness Update

Saturday April 26:
-"Total Body" class
-Flossed, ate 5+ fruits & veggies, called Mom

Sunday April 27:
-Rest day
-Full upper/lower body stretch routine
-Read for pleasure, flossed

Monday April 28:
-25 min. yoga DVD
-Approx 25 min. lawn mowing
-Read for pleasure

Tuesday April 29:
-15 min. elliptical
-Full upper body weight routine
-15 min. treadmill
-Full upper/lower body stretch
-Talked to sister on the phone, flossed

Wednesday April 30:
-19 min. outdoor walking
-Full upper/lower body stretch
-Played with cat, flossed, read for pleasure

Thursday May 1:
-15 min. treadmill
-Full upper/lower body weight routine
-15 min. stationary bike
-Full upper/lower body stretch routine
-Flossed

Friday May 2:
-Swimming laps 28 min.
-Full upper/lower body stretch
-Read for pleasure, hot tubbing with J., flossed

Activity Summary for Apr. 26 - May 2:
Total days I got some form of physical activity: 6 out of 7
Total days I did weight lifting: 3 out of 7
Estimated total hours: minutes of all activity (excluding stretching): 4:25

I'm satisfied with this week. I need to get cracking on some of my other health goals, namely figuring out when I can fit in a new-to-me fitness class.

I wish we had a gym nearby (and by near, I mean within 15 minutes.)

I also wish I could find a hot tub garden nearby.

I wanted to tell you that you have been my inspiration to pay attention to what I'm eating rather than just randomly restricting calories (this is, of course, the dieting I was taught by watching my mom spend her life on a diet. She restricts herself to 900 calories a day because her metabolism is so screwed up from a lifetime of dieting). I like your approach to it as total body and mind health rather than just weight.
