OK, that all makes sense. I did know most of that already.
My original point, though, was that 0.1 on Shermer's scale is pretty much "morally neutral." It's been a while, so I don't remember his exact scale, but for some reason, I'm fairly sure that morally neutral wasn't zero but rather a very small number, and that was actually what I was trying to convey with calling EC 0.1 immoral.
