What I've been reading
Oct. 1st, 2009 09:59 am"The Franchise Affair" by Josephine Tey. I'm not usually a fan of detective fiction, but I really enjoyed Tey's dry sense of humor and liked the characters a lot.
and
"Me and the Fat Man" by Julie Myerson. I'm not sure I'm 100 percent in love with this sad novel, but parts of it are sticking with me, which usually indicates there's power in the novel, even if it's flawed.
My full comments on both books here.
