Beautiful downtown Hamtramck

mogwar decided to invite me to hang out in her town earlier this week. We had pretty good Thai food and wandered up and down Hamtramck's downtown area. A lot of downtowns are very empty and poor these days, with merchants put out of business by big chains and strip malls, but Hamtramck was diverse and lively. I was impressed.
