Work whines

There was a glaze of slick ice on the driveway this morning, and I was so paranoid I was going to fall that I took off my shoes and walked to the garage in my socks. So, now I'm at work with damp socks, but at least I didn't fall and break my ass.

My secretary called off sick, my ad guy is taking a half-day because his kid has a snow/ice day, and my reporter was late in because HER kid had the day off because of weather. Not my most favorite day at work, but at least it's quiet and I'm getting some work done between bouts of slacking off.
