I believe it would be possible to ward off an unwelcome touch from His Noodly Appendage with a well-placed dose of parmesan cheese.

If you get it on while the noodley appendage is still really hot. Parmesan cheese doesn't melt easily.

Good point. What's your take on the efficacy of a dash of olive oil, or perhaps oregano?

Olive oil would facillite the touch; it's lube. Oregeno could help some, and Monterey Jack melts more easily (and really is pretty good on spaghetti).
