The Bacon review isn't all in italics for me. Maybe your browser is being weird, or maybe your publishers fixed it.

Huh, you're right! It's in italics when I read in Firefox but looks fine in IE. Weird, because I've never had that issue with that site and browser combo before...

I don't know if you ever do more complicated versions of any of your stories, but I have used Excel to create fileable tax returns (correct formatting and all), to automatically convert a trial balance into an 1120 (corporate tax return) and translate financial statements from German into English. (The latter two were my own complete inventions created from scratch.) There's more I could do, but [livejournal.com profile] pstscrpt has been trying to convince me that some of the complicated stuff I want to do would really work better in a database and I should take this opportunity to learn more about database design. :P

Yeah, that is the main complaint about Excel and spreadsheets in general- that people use them for things that could be done better with database software.
