U-pick strawberries?

Any local people want to go strawberry picking with J. & I this week? I think it's just about peak season, and there's a U-pick place about 10 min. from my house that I'm quite familiar with (we've picked raspberries there several times).

We'd likely go either Monday (tomorrow) or Thursday of this week, sometime between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Let us know if anyone is interested in making it a group event.

Sure. Either day would work for me.

I sent this to your email as well, but we'll probably go tonight around 6 p.m. If you want to come straight to our place from work tonight and we can carpool, that'd be fine.

I would love to go picking, but I have such a tight schedule I'm not sure if I could make whatever time you pick. I wanted to do jam this year, though. Getting tired of last year's raspberry (picked at Makielski's) and it's almost all gone anyway.

Strawberry season is really short-- it's usually about 3 weeks, and will likely be over before the end of June. If you want to go some other time in the next week (we're probably going tonight) or so, let me know; I'd be willing to go again if the strawberries aren't done yet.

Aigh! Strawberries! They're starting to take over, and it's only our second year of bushes. :D
