Not nice

I know this isn't nice, and I think even assholes have a right to free speech, but I admit I cackled out loud when I read this at work. I especially enjoyed it because it happened in one of my former hometowns, Kalamazoo, and the detail about it being ranch (at least that's what it looks like from the photo) dressing (hee!):

It's a little chunky for ranch, isn't it? I'm thinking bleu cheese.

*laughs loudly* I liked the picture, but even ranch dressing does NOT improve the (metaphorical) bad taste in my mouth that this... um... individual leaves. :-)

And.... "Felony Assault" -- for Ranch Dressing...? WTF? I wonder what the person who threw the pie at t'other fellow got...? Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Dessert...?

*snork*

Yeah, just what I was thinking. When did ranch dressing become a weapon? And when did throwing a NON-weapon at someone become felony-assault? It's certainly not battery, and assault requires an actual threat of some kind.

I'm glad they didn't try to put felony assault on him. Geeez, sometimes people go overboard these days, and I don't mean the guy with the ranch dressing.
