I adore that Kingsolver book, along with all her others that I've found. It does have a different flavor, but it has a similar emotional richness.
And some of my all-time favorite Sedaris essays are in that book. I also listened to it on a road trip...Sedaris reading/performing his own work is incredible (and this coming from a "I prefer to read books not listen to them" person, even).
