I can't even tell you how timely your post is in my life right now... Makes me want to read that book. Thanks for all the sharing you do about stress-topics, so I can feel less like a mutant, as well as having food for thought other than, "I can't deal with this anymore, I really truly can't!"
I tend to be in the "thoughts create reality" camp, though I can't say for certain how the book intends it, till I read it.
I believe we can program ourselves to not react in ways that we don't like (but it takes a lot of damn work). But I'm also the type who thinks people can overcome the former half of 'nature vs. nurture' through will alone.
