Despite it being a crap-o deadline day, I am feeling really hopeful.

That book editing job I interviewed for last week and really hoped I'd be considered for? I just got email from 2 of the 3 references I listed, saying they'd been contacted by the company.

Please, please, please let them offer me the job. . .
